….it’s all for charity!

February 23, 2009

The folks at the dairy are delighted to have recently received an award from The Nottinghamshire Hospice.

As part of our green policy, we recycle all our printer cartridges through local organisation Reclaim It. During 2008, we contributed to the wacking great total of £11,540 that the hospice received.

We are delighted to do our bit for the environment – but to contribute to a local, worthy cause as well really pleases us…..

…in the olden days, all the separate marketing disciplines were handled by separate agencies working to their own agendas and hoping that the client would be pulling eveything together to fit with their marketing plan and brand guidelines.

Things have changed though and there now seems to be a need from clients for one point of contact to handle all their needs (and hopefully guide the brand as it develops). The big winners though are PR and digital. At the dairy we have seen a real up-turn in the need for these two areas – but that shouldn’t be surprising as the economy tightens and audiences are becoming ever more web literate.

We think these are exciting times and the climate will make us all sharper and able to deliver better and more valued work to our clients!

The dairy is delighted to announce that Nottingham Rugby has asked the agency to sign up as the clubs marketing partner for another year.

We have been involved for 4 years now working on all areas of the marketing mix for the club – be it the new web site, general mailers to the database and PR for different campaigns.

Agency MD Nigel Rowlson commented “it is great to be associated with such an exciting team. The performances on the pitch have been electrifying in recent seasons and we at the dairy are very happy to reflect that in the marketing work we do”.

Having just reached the quarter finals of the EDF National Trophy – the club is now in a position to reach the final at Twickenham in April – what a day that would be……..

Free, free, free….

One of the most emotive words in the markerters vocabulary – and in this case it is true!

Our lovely client – No.1 Nottingham Science Park is offering free meeting rooms to science and technology based businesses for a limited time. They have a choice of meeting rooms in the award winning building on University Boulevard – all you have to do is call Centre Manager Dominique Woods on 0115 922 9763.

The dairy has worked with Blueprint Regeneration (the people behind No1. and other great developments in our area) since last Autumn. The cutting edge design of the buidling deserved great marketing materials so we have produced a fantastic brochure, a series of mailers and hand outs, a new web site (www.nottinghamsciencepark.co.uk)  as well as branded give-aways.

Take a look at these shots of the building – you can’t miss it on the University Boulevard…..

The Sliding House

February 6, 2009

Most of us in the creative community have an affinity with the architectural profession. It can’t be just me that stops in the middle of a road to stare at some new building that has been beautifully designed and built!

If you share my interest – you might want to go to www.drmm.co.uk a top London architectural firm who have designed ‘The Sliding House’ for a private client in East Anglia. This a fantastic piece of design and engineering that allows the house to grow and shrink depending on the owners needs or state of mind! There is a even a short film to show the thing in motion….
