How nice to be invited out by a client!
Last night Mrs. Dairy and I went to the Royal Concert Hall in Nottingham as a guest of Nottingham City Transport to a concert by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra as part of the Nottingham Classics season. Mrs D played the cello to some sort of high level as a youngster so was quite at home – but for us more used to rugby matches and beer it was quite a shock to the system. A very nice one though.
Some Berlioz and Ravel followed by excerpts from Prokofievs’ Romeo and Juliet went down very nicely thank you very much. Time to tune the dairy radio from Radio 6 to Classic FM I think!
