KioskKiosk project

KioskKiosk project

The dairy attended the launch of the KioskKiosk project yesterday opened by Wayne Hemmingway. This latest initiative by the British designer with the help of the city council supports creative talent and emerging creative businesses to showcase and sell their work in a purpose built unit in the heart of the city centre. Harking back to traditonal street trading roots of many business including Wayne’s which is proving particularly refreshing in a time where most city centres across the country are owned by global chains and prove very challenging for independent businesses to afford.

Each creative business and artist has a few days each, free of charge each in the kiosk and the project will run over the next 3 months. Here at The dairy we wish all the creative traders well, so if you are looking for that inspiring and perfect gift head down to Thurland street in town!
