the dairy wins for Nottingham!

Nottinghams’ favourite design and marketing agency the dairy has been recognised at a national award ceremony for its work with client Nottingham City Transport.

The agency has worked with the bus company for a number of years and recently developed a marketing campaign for the re-launch of the West Bridgford service. The work covered a mailing campaign with local magazine and poster advertising. To attract the traditional company car drivers in the area, the strategy of mimicking a smart car launch campaign was developed.

The headline ‘ Introducing a vehicle so advanced you don’t even have to drive it’ was used alongside a teaser shot of a vehicle in darkness. The reveal showed the new bus in all its glory and tempted city workers to be driven to work.

Patronage increased well into double figures and the campaign was deemed a success. Clearly the UK Bus Awards judging panel agreed as the campaign won the award for attracting new customers at the ceremony on 12th November.

Dairy MD Nigel Rowlson was delighted to go to the event at the Hilton Park Lane with the client team and accept the award in front of 650 of the industry’s finest!
