We at the dairy are delighted to announce, that we have once again retained our Recommended Agencies Register status following a review by the RAR and our clients.

The Recommended status is based upon client feedback and assesses a number of criteria from our entire service offering from marketing, design, pr web and social media.

We’d like to thank our clients that have taken the time to complete the recommendation and rate us so highly.

A huge dairy thanks to New College Nottingham for inviting us to their launch event last night.

The college was launching their creative apprenticeships and we heard interesting talks from The Mighty Creatives, the Skills Agency – Creative and the keynote speaker Wayne Hemmingway MBE who spoke of his career and how creativity has been key to it…. He was fascinating – you ought to check out his web site:

It was smiles all round at an otherwise gloomy Lady Bay as Dairy client Nottingham Rugby continued in their push for premiership promotion with a 24-11 victory over Leeds Carnegie.

The dairy and photographer Pete Thompson were there to plan the next photo shoot and show their support to the lads.

Let’s hope the green and whites can maintain momentum as they clash with top side Bedford Blues this weekend. Hope to see you there!

We are delighted to have been selected, once again. to produce the brand design work for the Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire Chamber of Commerce – Best Business Awards 2012.

Due to be launched towards the end of March, these prestigious awards celebrate the achievements of Businesses across the region, culminating in a great awards ceremony later in the year.

For more information on the Best Business Awards and services offered by the Chamber, please follow the link the the DNCC website

We all know that dairy products make us strong, but can they actually make us smarter too?

Researchers at the University of Maine put more than 900 men and women aged fron 23 to 98 through a series of spatial, verbal and memory tests whilst tracking their milk consumption.

The University reported that adults who drank at least one glass of milk each day had an advantage and scored significantly higher on memory and other brain function tests than those who drank little to no milk. In fact. they were five times less likely to “fail” the test, compared to non-milk drinkers.

But of course we’ve known this for years….!

Hello from Lauren

October 24, 2011

I’m Lauren and I’m the last of the dairy interns for this year. It’s my first day and I’m already feeling very welcome and as though I am part of the team. I’m really looking forward to working at The Dairy, and a big thank you to Nigel, a childhood friend of my dad, for giving me the opportunity to work at such a fantastic, welcoming company!

So, a bit of background about me… I’m a student at Manchester Metropolitan University studying Advertising and Brand Management, although I am currently on my placement year, so am home in Nottingham for the next year doing bits of work here and there. Although my degree is a marketing course, I have never had experience in a real-life setting such as this one, and I look forward to having a hands on view of what actually goes on!

Bye for now!

Nottingham City Transport has won the Operator Training Award at this year’s Route One Excellence Awards.

The need for training and staff development should be at the heart of any business aiming to be the best it can be. Your company’s success depends on your employees having the right skills, whether it’s keeping your products at the cutting edge or delivering excellence in customer service.

The numerous awards and accolades gained by NCT over the years show that time dedicated to training employees is time well spent.

The Route One Excellence Awards – a nationally-recognised scheme, now in its seventh year,  are held in particularly high regard by bus and coach operators, as the nominees are short-listed by their peers in the industry.

NCT learned of their success in front of over 600 industry VIPs at a special ceremony held at the National Motorcycle Museum in Birmingham on Wednesday night.

NCT has delivered 8,738 ‘person training days’ in the last 2 financial years, and staff qualifications range from NVQ Level 2s in Road Passenger Transport, to Customer Service Apprenticeships and Foundation Degrees in Business Management.

Congratulations to all at NCT.
